Representative Payee Program

Polk Burnett Payee Program was established to provide high quality, comprehensive, responsible budgeting, and bill paying on behalf of individuals who may not be able to do so on their own. Our service will provide individuals the highest level of financial independence possible in the least restrictive manner. Polk Burnett Payee is a non-profit organization. We have been serving the community since 2009.

What Is An Organization Representative Payee

An organization who is overseeing another person’s Social Security benefits and uses those funds to make sure that your current needs are met.We work with you to help you live on a budget. This means we make sure that you have the funds available for your housing, utilities, food, medical and personal needs. A payee also helps you to save for unexpected costs that could arise. The main responsibility of a Representative Payee is to use the individuals’ benefits to pay for current and anticipated needs of that person.
